TT Orlando in Clermont, FL (Dec 1-22)
We moved to TTO and got a good spot in the ‘new’ area. We got settled in and ready for Disney!
We spent the next two days at Disney World and had a great time!
#VC I flew to Dallas for an appointment and to spend a few days catching up with family. Michael and I had breakfast together and then went on a hike at his usual haunt. I love being able to spend one-on-one time with him.
I really need to get better at taking photos when I am in Dallas!
When I got back to Florida, we spent another day at Disney. This time we decided to pepper our park days throughout our 3 week stay. Ed had to fly to Dallas for a few days for a couple of doctor appointments.
I had been coveting this years Mickey’s Christmas Party Popcorn Bucket. Ed connected with a fellow camper and she was going to the party and she got this adorable bucket for me! I am so excited!!!
These shots are from Living with the Land. It is one of my favorite rides…at Christmas, they make it really cute. The last few are these Scentsy sponsored ornaments that are huge and they pipe out Scentsy scents…it was pretty neat.
I ADORE this ladies jacket! I told her that I loved it. Now I need to find one!
We made the rounds to see the gingerbread structures at each resort. They are always so intricate and cool!
The gingerbread carousel actually rotates and is always a favorite of mine.
Spaceship Earth Gingerbread at Epcot
The Contemporary Hotel has the gingerbread castle. The large gingerbread house is at the Grand Floridian. We wanted to get closer, but it was a madhouse in there, not worth the fight. They pipe the scent of gingerbread throughout the lobby, so it is pretty cool. We also went to the Animal Kingdom Lodge to see their gingerbread animals.
We had lunch at the Chef de France in Epcot and it was delicious! The desserts were scrumptious!
We attended the Candlelight Processional for the first time. It was beautiful! Pat Sajak was the host. He’s not exactly who I would have chosen to see, but it was still great.
We went to Disney Spring and visited Gideon’s for some cookies. We got there early, so the wait was minimal. The cookies are so worth it!
I got this wreath cake at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and it was delicious!
Also got my caramel apple fix! Isn’t she cute?!?
We had a wonderful time, as always. We even plan on returning next month to kick off the new year! LOL!
Next stop….Tampa!

Blythe Island Campground in Brunswick, GA (Nov 28-Dec 1)
We moved to Blythe Island on Thanksgiving Day, our Thanksgiving meal was McDonald’s…such is life on the road! LOL! The bonus is no long hours of cooking and cleaning.
We went to Jekyll Island and walked the beach. This was our shortest stay here, but as always, it was a nice stay! A raccoon mama and her babies came to eat the popcorn we spilled. LOL!
We always enjoy the sunsets here and feeding the bunnies.

TT The Oaks at South Point in Yemassee, SC (Nov 18-28)
We arrived in Yemassee and ended up in a site I was not happy with, but we were able to move to a better site after a day, so I ended up happy. We walked around the pond several times and each time we saw the local gators.
We went to Hilton Head and strolled around the Harbour Town area. We encountered a chittery squirrel and a hawk who was looking for his next meal, which perhaps was what made the squirrel so chittery!
The next day we started out the day with a bus tour of Beaufort, SC. It was nice because there was only 2 other tourists on the bus, so it felt like a personal tour! Then we visited Hunting Island State Park to see the lighthouse. Turns out the lighthouse is being painted, so we couldn’t really see it! We walked the beach and it was pretty chilly.
A few days later, we visited Charleston and took a bus tour. I would have to say that this tour was one of my favorite bus tours we have been on. Our tour guide was a local whose family has been in Charleston for many generations. He was overflowing with information/history of the city. After the tour, we went to see the USS Yorktown and to take a sunset cruise of the bay. We have seen the Yorktown before, it is huge and we probably still haven’t seen all of it! The sunset cruise was beautiful and we really enjoyed it.
Reece Witherspoon’s Charleston Home The next day, we spent the day in Charleston. We went to the South Carolina Aquarium, walked to City Market and walked all over Charleston. It is a really cool town and we enjoyed our time there.
Next stop is Georgia…

Myrtle Beach KOA in Myrtle Beach, SC (Nov 17)
We spent one night at the KOA in Myrtle Beach, SC. We got there early and were able to have lunch, do some shopping at the boardwalk area and enjoy the sunset. The KOA is nice, but some of the sites are a bit tricky to get into due to trees

Onslow Beach in Camp LeJeune Marine Base, NC (Oct 31-Nov 17)
We arrived at Onslow on Halloween. I set up my decor, but apparently they already had their Halloween event the weekend prior. I still really enjoyed my setup.
We spent the first few days getting settled in and redoing the kitchen cabinet interiors. We had been having troubles with the arrangement, but I am super happy with the new setup.
We visited the North Carolina Aquarium and hiked the trail around it. It was nice.
Flag over the campground We spent time walking the beach and just chilling out.
I flew to Dallas for a few days to help James get his home setup a bit better for living now that he has been in it for a while. I met his cat, which still remains nameless. We got him all settled and the place a bit more ‘homey’.

Mama is proud! I love this kid so dang much!!! When I got back to NC, I went to Studio Seven in Wilmington. This is where I got my right conch and upper helix piercings. I spent time with Tori curating my ears and got my left ear garden-themed 14k gold (rose/white) jewelry. Lexi pierced my flat, faux rook and two mid helix. The only thing left for that ear for now is getting a 14k white and rose gold ring for my daith. We also curated my left ear with sea theme jewelry. I am not sure I will go with what we set up, but it is a start! This is my Christmas present from Ed.
Moonstone drops added to right hidden helix Left Ear Curation-Garden Theme We took a ferry to Cape Lookout and rented an ATV. We had such a great time! We found several conch that were in great shape. Ed found a teeny baby sea turtle that was making it’s way to the ocean. I won’t say I helped it out, but I won’t say I didn’t….
The day before we left Onslow, Ed busted his head open on the slide out. He was walking at full pace and WHAM! the next thing I knew, he was flat on his back! Fortunately, he didn’t require stitches, but man, he really hit it hard. He was sore for a few days.

Enfield/Rocky Mount KOA in Enfield, NC 27823
We drove to West Virginia to a KOA where we intended to stay, unfortunately we had an issue with our support jacks. It was around 3pm and I wanted to push on to Onslow so that we could get somewhere that we could get a RV repair visit to evaluate the hydraulics and make sure we didn’t get stuck somewhere. Ed was worried that the drive to Onslow was too far, so we compromised to push to Enfield, stay hooked up and then get to Onslow nice and early. That way, we can get a service call in if needed.
The drive was horrendous as we did not account for driving right through Washington DC during rush hour; which turned into rush HOURS. I was exhausted by the time we arrived in Enfield. We did get a nice spot and the campground at Enfield. If we are in the area again, this would be an option for us.
Onto Onslow in the morning…

TT Timothy Lake South in East Stroudsburg, PA (Oct 29)
Literally just stayed overnight at the campground. We have been here before and like the campground. We are still just traveling through to get to Onslow Beach.
-
Northampton/Springfield KOA in Westhampton, MA (Oct 28)
The next couple of days, we are traveling rather swiftly south to Onslow Beach. When we planned this trip, we were not sure how the weather would be and I was worried about it being too cold or snow catching us. We now realize that we could have taken it a bit slower as there was no real weather threat. LOL! Live and learn.
We stayed overnight at KOA and really didn’t spend much time doing anything in the area.

TT Moody Beach in Wells, Maine (Oct 23-Oct 28)
We moved to Wells and stopped on the way at Dunkin Donuts and got the Halloween bucket full of yummy munchkins! We got a good site and settled in.
The next day we went to Freeport so I could show Ed the McDonald’s in the Colonial home that Mom & I stumbled upon when we were here. We found a Dooney & Burke outlet shop that the lady at Legends recommended to us. Ed bought me a beautiful new bag and wallet!
Ed surprised me with a rail bike ride! We have seen them several times on our travels and I have always been intrigued. Due to my health issues, obviously we can’t do anything strenuous outdoors in the heat. The rail bikes were so much fun and the Seashore Trolley Museum was a cool place.
On our last day in Wells, Ed took me to get my long desired lobster roll! I got a double roll, which was a warm butter roll and cold mayo roll. I ate the butter roll right off and it was yummy. I kept the mayo roll for the next day. They were very good, but I think I have had my fill of lobster rolls. LOL!
This is our final stay this go round in Maine. We absolutely fell in love with Maine. I am already looking forward to our next visit here.
