Blythe Island Campground in Brunswick, GA (Oct 12-24)

Oct 12–We moved to Blythe Island Campground, as we were fortunate enough that they had availability for us to arrive early. This is one of my favorite campgrounds. They have great walking trails and this is where the bunnies are! Plus, they don’t care about my birdfeeders and decor!!!

Since we arrived on a Thursday, we just laid low all through the weekend. We got settled in and really enjoyed our surroundings.

Sept 18-We went to Jekyll Island and ate at Tortuga Jacks, my favorite place to eat in the area!

Then back at the zoo that is our campsite…the ducks brought their babies over to visit, so I put birdseed on the ground for them. Well, as night fell, I caught a racoon eating the leftovers!!! Then he must have called all his buddies and decided there was a party at our place. I have to admit they are so darn cute….and BOLD!

Oct 20–We went back to Jekyll Island for some more beach time. Then we spent the rest of our stay just hanging out at the campground, except for a trip to St. Simons Island on the 23rd, but for some reason I don’t have any photos from that trip.

Off to our next destination … Can you guess where we are headed?!?!
