We moved to Wells and stopped on the way at Dunkin Donuts and got the Halloween bucket full of yummy munchkins! We got a good site and settled in.
The next day we went to Freeport so I could show Ed the McDonald’s in the Colonial home that Mom & I stumbled upon when we were here. We found a Dooney & Burke outlet shop that the lady at Legends recommended to us. Ed bought me a beautiful new bag and wallet!
Ed surprised me with a rail bike ride! We have seen them several times on our travels and I have always been intrigued. Due to my health issues, obviously we can’t do anything strenuous outdoors in the heat. The rail bikes were so much fun and the Seashore Trolley Museum was a cool place.
On our last day in Wells, Ed took me to get my long desired lobster roll! I got a double roll, which was a warm butter roll and cold mayo roll. I ate the butter roll right off and it was yummy. I kept the mayo roll for the next day. They were very good, but I think I have had my fill of lobster rolls. LOL!
This is our final stay this go round in Maine. We absolutely fell in love with Maine. I am already looking forward to our next visit here.
